The organisers will make sure details of the game are available on thebig game blog so that anyone interested will know in advance and be able to come watch it. Some games will be participation but not all will be, it is down to the players involved to decide. So if you see something that interests you please come down and watch . |

This will be a late World War Two encounter, either between the British and Germans or the Americans and Germans. Tonight (9th October) Tony, Russ and myself will look over the two scenarios we have and decide which we want to procede with. The British encounter is an all infantry affair set a few days after D-Day, while the American scenario is set around Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge. The games will be played on a 6' by 4' table using 20mm figures supplied by Russ and Tony. Force on Force is the expanded version of Ambush Alley designed for two conventional forces engaging each other. The rules are skirmish orientated and can support from squad level affairs to multi-platoon or at the most a company. They are intended for a mainly infantry based force with some vehicle support. The inclusion of "Fog of War" cards make every game unique as these can suddenly change the tactical situation. |
