News, We are closing in now on the Wes Smith Memorial Shield, dates of the Final will be posted here on the website and on our Forum. Summer holidays are on us which means those of us with kiddies will probably be taking holidays during this month, club will continue as normal during this time so come on down. I have been told that our participation game we take to shows, will be at Colours in September, more details to follow. Days we are gaming: August 7th Infinity - 400 pts battle between James Holmes and Francis Warmachine - A battle between the undying Cryx and the technologically superior Cygnar, controlled by Gareth and Keith respectively Warhammer Fantasy Battle - Here's one for the record books, when was this last played at the Club? Paul testing out his new Empire Army against the Slaneshy forces of our very own Treasurer Stig August 14th Warmachine - Again the undying Cryx met on the fields of battle this time against the Great Khadoran Empire, controlled by James Swannell and David The Order of the Stick - A board game based on a Stick Figure Web-Comic which is a parody of a Dungeons and Dragons adventuring group, does it get any better! Rupert, Gareth, Paul and a newcomer to the Club Furthermore a number of Club members set to work paining the Club Warhammer 40K Army August 21st Warmachine - The purifying flames of the Protectorate of Menoth will meet the technologically superior Cygnar and a force of indomitable Dwarven mercenaries, controlled by Rob, Stuart and Dale Illuminati - A mysterious card game that has been much talked about but little played, it comes from the mind of Steve Jackson and is something of a classic; some think the mystery is whether it will ever actually get played. James Holmes and Rupert are set to play it more are welcomed and required! Warhammer 40K Apocalypse - Stig's forces will battle against those of Ian's August 28th Warmachine - A popular game for August, Keith and Gareth will once again face off this time taking the game up into the realms of Epic characters Come on people put your name down and play something! Bloodbowl players not yet signed up for the Tournament will be appreciated, we have teams for you to use, if you haven't played before we're happy to teach! |
