Hi All, This Fridays Club has been cancelled as this weekend most of us will be spending the weekend at Bovington Tank Museum. Please come down to supprot us as we will be showing the new game "Achtung Dice" a Prisoner of War game, the setting is World War 2. The Bloodbowl final is between the Norse team of Stig and the Dark elf Team of Kurrelgyre The game should be played this weekend during the Bovington weekend. Good luck to both |

The latest update to Internet Explorer has meant you cannot see or access our forum, we have found you can access the forum using Safari & Mozilla Firefox, both of which are free all you need to do is google it. Sorry for the inconvenience but please lodge a complaint with Microsoft.  |

The club meets every Friday, with the odd exception, at the North Maidenhead Cricket Club in Maidenhead. Officially the hours are from 7:30pm to 11pm, if you wish to visit the club for the first time we suggest that you contact either the Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer before hand so that we can guide you to the Club. The club has a fully licensed bar with very reasonable prices and while no food is provided on site, Take aways can be ordered for delivery to the club. No drink may be brought into the club. Club Members are charged £2.00 a night for an Adult and £1.00 a night for a Junior (Junior fees are under revision) Guests are charged £3.00 a night for an Adult and £2.00 if a Junior, however their first 2 visits to the club are free. Occasionally the Cricket club will have a function being run on a Friday night, if so the club may move it's night to another night that week. An article put together to support our 6mm particpation game "Islandwana" on "how to design a particpation game" has been published inthe lastest issue of Wargames Illustrated (issue 251). This is a support article for the game which took "Best Participation Game " at the Battlegroup South 2008 show at the Bovington Tank Museum Dorset and will be present at the Colours 2008 show at Newbury Racecourse on 13th and 14th September 2008. We look forward to seeing you there and give us a shout if you see us. |
